White Bear Lake is a city located in Ramsey County with a small portion of the city extending into Washington County, Minnesota. Located on White Bear Lake, one of the largest lakes in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area, the city after the lake. The city was incorporated in 1921 and currently has a population of approximately 23,769.

White Bear Lake Area Historical Society – The White Bear Lake Area Historical Society is dedicated to connecting the White Bear Lake Area community to its past and cultivating an appreciation for history. The historical society is the first organization to create and Endowment Fund with the newly formed Greater White Bear Lake Community Foundation.

White Bear Lake Area School District – The White Bear Lake Area School District serves approximately 9,000 students PreK-12, while also offering adult basic education, community education classes, recreation offerings and a senior program. The school district proudly serves all or parts of Birchwood, Gem Lake, Hugo, Lino Lakes, Little Canada, Maplewood, North Oaks, Vadnais Heights, White Bear Lake and White Bear Township.
